Day 2

am  - Egyptian Museum of ancient antiquities

The Egyptian Museum is the oldest archaeological museum in the Middle East and houses the largest collection of Pharaonic antiquities in the world. The museum displays an extensive collection spanning from the Predynastic Period to the Greco-Roman Era.

Day 3

Alexandria is a port city located on the Mediterranean Sea in northern Egypt founded in 331 BCE by Alexander the Great.It was the site of the Pharos (lighthouse), one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, and the legendary Library of Alexandria and was once the most vital cultural center of the ancient world, rivalling even AthensGreece.

Visit the Catacomb , Pompey’s Pillar , the Roman amphitheater, Qaitbay fortress

Day 4

am -  Al Azhar Park is a paradise within Medieval Cairo, Egypt. The park was created by the Historic Cities Support Programme of the Aga Khan Trust for Culture, an entity of the Aga Khan Development Network.

pm - Shopping time at Khalili  Bazaar

Evening  - Fly  to  Aswan  for  Overnight

 

Day 5

The Late Agakhan was buried here in this magnificent Mausoleum, modeled on the Fatimid Tombs 

After completion of visit to the Agakhan Mausoleum, you will be taken to the port to check in the Cruise after 12:00 pm and have lunch on board. Thereafter you will visit the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and the Temple of Philae. Have dinner and stay overnight on board. (L+D)

Day 6

Option - Abu Simbel Temples

The site of Abu Simbel is one of the most recognizable ancient sites in Egypt. For 3,000 years, it sat on the west bank of the Nile River, between the first and second cataracts of the Nile. However, in a remarkable feat of engineering, the temple complex was dismantled and rebuilt on a higher hill to make way for the
Aswan High Dam in the 1960s. Built in 1244 B.C., Abu Simbel contains two temples, carved into a mountainside. The larger of the two temples contains four colossal statues of a seated pharaoh Ramesses II (1303-1213 B.C.)  at its entrance, each about 69 feet (21 meters) tall.  

Sail to Kom Ombo to visit Kom Ombo Temple, then sail to Edfu to visit Edfu Temple (Temple of Horus). Watch the Egyptian Folkloric Show in the evening. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served on board. The cruise ship will dock in Edfu tonight. (B+L+D)

Day 7

 Edfu - Luxor  -   On Board Cruise   

Have breakfast during sailing to Luxor, then visit the West Bank: Valley of the Kings & Queens, Hatshepsut (El-Deir El-Bahari), Colossi of Memnon upon arrival. Return to the ship for lunch. The afternoon is free time. Enjoy dinner on board and tonight stay in Luxor. (B+L+D)

Day 8

Luxor - Disembarkation

Check out after having breakfast at 8:00 am on board. 

Later go to visit Luxor East Bank: Karnak Temple & Luxor Temple.  

De board Cruise - Complete sightseeing of monuments 

Check in  to Hotel  for  overnight in Luxor

 - Evening , enjoy  Dinner and  Horse Carriage ride

Day 9

Fly  Luxor to Sharm el sheikh for 4 nights  

Stay  @ All  Inclusive Resort     

Evening Tour of  the City including visit to Soho Square
